The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, now in its 16th year, is a community celebration of the arts within one of the most beautiful and historic precincts of Mumbai, The Kala Ghoda Art District. It has been held for the last 15 years, and is open to all, free of charge. The festival incorporates visual arts, music, theatre, dance, cinema, literature, lectures, street acts, heritage walks, literature, seminars and Workshops for children as well as adults.
We live in a society where there is a massive load on the students to perform well and have shining colors on their mark sheets. Well, I’m not saying that kids should not be taught the importance of studying, after all, they are the future of this country and we most definitely want bright minds leading us into an unknown future; but what if we are breeding a generation that does not realize the importance of these activities?
